This class will introduce the fundamentals of Pilates, including: breathing from the core, engaging your core and a fluid spine. Students will learn how to safely execute the basic Pilates Method in a way that builds strength and stamina while emphasizing proper form and technique. On the mat one focuses on using your own body weight as resistance throughout the workout. Bands, weight and balls are also used in class.
