Sylvia is studio owner/operator and is also a Certified YogaFit as a Level 1 instructor. She became interested in yoga eight years ago after her daughter Megan suffered a stroke and the Physical Therapist recommended yoga as a form of therapy and relaxation. She has gained confidence, strength and flexibility with yoga. It helps her control stress through breathing techniques.. Sylvia never exercised until her 40’s and yoga opened up a new world for her. She may not be the most flexible person in a class but the end result is the same, yoga makes her feel GOOD.

Favorite Pose: The balancing pose Tree is one of her favorites; it gives her a sense of control over my body and helps with her ability to focus. She finds herself doing tree in line at the grocery or standing at a sporting event.

Hobbies: Cooking and eating. Both of which she is able to do more of because she exercise regularly doing yoga and pilates

Renne a Certified Level 1 YogaFit , Certified Level 1 YogaFlight and Certified Kids YogaFit Instructor. She teaches Mixed –Level Yoga, Private Yoga Sessions. Renee loves the way yoga keeps her healthy, both body and mind. She enjoys teaching and taking classes at various locations.

Favorite Pose: Her favorite pose is all balancing poses, pigeon and the pigeon variations, balancing pigeon and reclining pigeon. They are great for opening the hips and allowing the spine more room.

Hobbies: Cooking, camping, bicycling and anything outdoors.

Kathy is a Certified Pilates instructor. She has enjoyed attending yoga and pilates faithfully for the last six years. I have gained strength, flexibility and calmness through yoga and pilates.

Favorite Pose:Plow – it stretches my back and shoulders & is very relaxing and       Dolphin plank pose – creates a strong core and arms

Hobbies: Reading, knitting & most anything outdoors

Patty VanDemark

Patty is a Certified Level 3 YogaFit Instructor, a Certified Pilates-On-The-Ball Instructor, and she has various classes in Kinesiology and exercise physiology. She teaches Mixed-Level Yoga, Beginner Yoga and Pilates. Patty has 25 years experience in the fitness industry.

Emily is a ZUMBA® Instructor and teaches ZUMBA FIINESS®.

Favorite Dance: “Salsa” and “Cumbia”; She loves moves that work the hips because not many us are taught to move like that and it really adds to the style of the music. Not to mention it is FUN!

Hobbies:  ZUMBA® (Duh!), knitting, learning foreign languages (French, Spanish), cake decorating.

Wanda Coleman

Wanda Coleman

Yoga & Pilates Instructor

Wanda is a certified yoga and Pilates instructor and has been teaching in the fitness industry since her 20’s.  She is currently teaching yoga, her passion and feels through yoga practice one can strengthen the mind body connection and overall well being.  She is inspired by others to be a better instructor.

Favorite Pose: -The Warrior Series (Virabhadrasana) which are the foundation for most standing asanas, they help me build strength, balance and increases my body awareness.

Hobbies: Gardening, Canoeing, Hanging out with family and All things nature.
